Palermo Airport opens new Autogrill restaurant and Planeta wine bar

New dining facilities have opened at the Palermo Falcone Borsellino International Airport as part of a commercial redevelopment project led by the airport management company, Gesap. The expansion includes the “Amore” restaurant by Autogrill and a Planeta wine bar, established in collaboration with Prezzemolo & Vitale.

The new food area occupies approximately 400 square meters and provides 100 seats. Located on the third level of the terminal past security checkpoints, the space is designed to highlight Sicilian wine and gastronomic culture.

Gianfranco Battisti, CEO of Gesap, stated that the initiative aims to evolve the airport into a more modern and international hub while maintaining its local identity. He emphasized that improving service quality in dining, lounges, and retail is essential to accompany the increase in passenger traffic and create a cohesive airport hospitality ecosystem.
