Palermo coach Inzaghi outlines transfer targets and pre‑season focus ahead of Serie B push

Filippo Inzaghi said Palermo’s squad is not yet final after the three‑week training camp in Val Gardena. The club has already added players such as Hernani, Nahuel Estevez, Tommaso Cassandro, Bozzolan and goalkeeper Vavassori, but still seeks a right‑back to replace Joel Pohjanpalo and a centre‑forward to partner him. The preferred striker is Stefano Moreo from Pisa, while Antonio Di Nardo of Pescara is also on the shortlist.

Sport director Carlo Osti continues to explore higher‑profile options, and Inzaghi stressed that the upcoming tour in Australia should not distract the team. He wants the squad to stay focused on the Serie B promotion race, recalling the club’s recent 72‑point season and urging players to build on a solid foundation.
