Palermo faces challenging away schedule in Serie B

Palermo, currently leading Serie B, faces a challenging schedule following the international break. While the team under manager Filippo Inzaghi has maintained a strong record at the Renzo Barbera stadium, their away performance has been less consistent.

Out of the next seven scheduled matches, five will be played away from home. The upcoming away fixtures include matches against Empoli, Mantova, Pisa, Ascoli, and Catanzaro. Only two home games against Carrarese and Vicenza are scheduled within this period.

This stretch is viewed as a critical test for the City Football Group-owned club to demonstrate its strength and ambitions for promotion. The team is also managing player fitness, with staff working to reintegrate Perin and Hernani while Strefezza recovers from a lesion.
