Palermo FC resumes training and tests tactical shifts
Palermo FC has resumed training at Torretta in preparation for their upcoming away match against Empoli. During recent sessions, manager Filippo Inzaghi has been testing tactical variations, including a 4-3-3 formation as an alternative to the team's standard 4-2-3-1. This tactical drill involved an attacking trident consisting of Vavassori, Alessandro Gabrielloni, and Johnsen.
Regarding squad availability, the club is monitoring several injuries. Brazilian midfielder Hernani remains sidelined, though the medical staff is working toward his recovery without rushing the process. Similarly, Perin is being managed with caution, and the status of Gyasi remains under observation following recent training sessions.
