Palermo finishes LED lighting upgrade in Favorita Park

The public works department of Palermo completed a comprehensive restoration of the Favorita Park lighting system. AMG Energia re‑installed more than one hundred streetlights, including the retrofit of 95 existing light‑centers with new‑generation LED kits and the addition of 25 fresh retrofit kits along Viale Ercole.

The project, funded with over €49,000, also covered the re‑lighting of Viale Diana, where an extra 70 LED units are now operational. Officials highlighted that the upgrade improves energy efficiency, safety, and the overall usability of the city’s green lung.
