Palermo hosts seminar on taxation and disability

The Chamber of Tax Lawyers of Palermo organized a seminar titled ‘Taxation and Disability’ at the Gonzaga Campus Library. The event, held under the patronage of the Palermo Bar Association, brought together lawyers, legal experts, and representatives from various institutions to discuss the intersection of fiscal policy and disability.

Speakers included Professor Angelo Cuva, President of the Chamber of Tax Lawyers of Palermo, and Rossano Bartoli, President of the Lega del Filo d’Oro Foundation. Other contributors included representatives from the Sicilian Regional Directorate of the Revenue Agency, the Lega del Filo d’Oro Imerese Center, and former Ministry of Finance official Salvatore Forastieri.

During the seminar, Professor Cuva noted that tax regulations regarding disability serve functions beyond mere revenue collection, emphasizing redistributive goals and economic and social solidarity rooted in the Italian Constitution.
