Palermo launches “Io sono Energia” youth engagement project

The “Io sono Energia” project has officially launched in Palermo, aiming to foster active citizenship, creativity, and social inclusion among youth through art and digital innovation. Promoted by the European Culture University (E.C.U.), the itinerant program will visit several neighborhoods, including Brancaccio, Bonagia, Guadagna, and the ZEN district, through November 21.

The initiative is supported by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (Department for Youth Policies), the Sicilian Region, and the Municipality of Palermo. It seeks to move away from traditional lecture-style conferences, instead providing spaces for music, culture, and technology to serve as tools for social engagement and community development.
