Palermo reopens Città dei Ragazzi park for families

The Città dei Ragazzi, a historic site located near the Palazzina Cinese in Palermo's Parco della Favorita, has officially reopened to the public. On its first day, the space welcomed 932 visitors, including children and families, participating in various workshops and activities.

The reopening follows a period of redevelopment and is managed by a temporary enterprise network led by CoopCulture, alongside Palma Nana, Orto Capovolto, and Parco Uditore, supported by 22 local entities. The project aims to create an inclusive, safe, and experiential space for the community.

Palermo Mayor Roberto Lagalla and Social Activities Councilor Mimma Calabrò highlighted the reopening as a significant achievement for local welfare and community integration, describing the park as a vital resource for families and the territory.
