Palermo signs Dominic Vavassori and scouts additional wingers

Palermo Football Club has completed the loan signing of 18‑year‑old winger Dominic Vavassori from Atalanta’s Under‑23 squad. The deal is a paid loan without a purchase option, and Vavassori is expected to form a left‑wing partnership with Johnsen in the team’s 4‑2‑3‑1 formation.

The club’s sporting director, Carlo Ostia, said Palermo will continue to search for further offensive options. The side is monitoring Inter Under‑23 winger Issiaka Kamate, though the player appears to be leaning toward other destinations. Palermo is also looking abroad for a right‑winger and keeping an eye on potential replacements for Jérémy Le Douaron, as well as other players such as Gyasi, Brunori, Blin, Diakitè and Buttaro. The team will depart for its pre‑season tour in Perth, Australia, on 3 August.
