Palermo strengthens social services with 40 new hires

The City of Palermo is strengthening its social services in District 42 through the hiring of 40 new professionals. These individuals, who won the ATS competition funded by the Ministry of Labour and Social Policies, will sign three-year fixed-term contracts.

The new staff includes a diverse range of specialists, such as psychologists, educators, pedagogists, and administrative and accounting officials. Mimma Calabrò, the Assessor for Social Activities, stated that this reinforcement allows for better programming, greater continuity in interventions, and closer support for vulnerable families.

In addition to the 40 ATS competition winners, the City of Palermo is also adding six permanent employees, including two pedagogists and four professionals with Easa profiles.
