Palermo to host Mobility Expo by SM in Piazza Castelnuovo

The Mobility Expo by SM is scheduled to take place from Friday, October 23, to Sunday, October 25, in Piazza Castelnuovo, Palermo. Organized by Sicilia Motori with the patronage of the Municipality of Palermo, the event will feature ten automotive brands, including three unreleased models being shown in Sicily for the first time.

The exhibition offers a free, 24-hour outdoor display covering environment, history, technology, and road safety. The Automobile Club d’Italia (ACI) will participate with a focus on road safety. Academic involvement includes the University of Palermo, the University of Messina, and the University of Catania, showcasing engineering projects such as the Apex single-seater and the Zancle E-Drive.

In addition to modern vehicles, the Heritage Red Carpet will display classic cars dating back to the 1950s. The event will also include a roundtable discussion on October 23 regarding the future of mobility, smart cities, and safety, featuring local officials and industry experts.
