Palestine Ambassador meets Kerala Chief Minister to discuss bilateral ties

Palestine Ambassador to India, Abdullah M Abu Shawesh, met with Kerala Chief Minister VD Satheesan in New Delhi to discuss bilateral relations. The meeting focused on the relationship between Palestine and India broadly, as well as specific potential programs between Palestine and the state of Kerala.

Abu Shawesh noted that Kerala has been a strong supporter of the Palestinian cause and expressed hope for continued support. While the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip was not a topic of this specific meeting, the Ambassador indicated that such matters are typically handled with the Indian central government, though future discussions regarding Kerala may occur in the state itself.
