Palestine and Jordan launch 2026 high‑school exams

On June 24, 2026, thousands of Palestinian secondary‑school students began the first session of the Arabic paper of the national high‑school exam (التوجيهي). As the exam concluded, students and parents turned to online platforms seeking the official answer key, which teachers promised to publish shortly.

In Jordan, the first day of the 2026 الثانوية العامة (التوجيهي) also took place on Thursday, drawing large numbers of candidates to exam halls. The Ministry of Education’s operations centre monitored the process, and the minister and senior officials issued messages of encouragement, promising fairness and announcing that results are slated for early August after the exams, which run through July 18.
