Palestinian Ambassador Al-Sweis discusses international legality in Uruguay

Palestinian Ambassador Zaid Al-Sweis has emphasized that international support for the Palestinian cause is a defense of international legality and global stability. Speaking from Uruguay, Al-Sweis noted that without adherence to defined rights for all peoples, the international order risks becoming a state of lawlessness where the strong dominate the weak.

Al-Sweis highlighted Uruguay’s history of pro-Palestinian stances, including its formal participation in the Hispanic-Palestinian congress in Spain to defend Palestinian culture. He expressed hope for increased bilateral treaties and continued commitment to international justice as attacks continue in Palestinian territories.
