Palestinian Cabinet calls for international action against Gaza crisis and West Bank violence

The Palestinian Cabinet, led by Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa, has called for more serious international action to halt Israeli military operations and settler violence in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. During a weekly session, officials reported 719 documented attacks against citizens and property between October 4 and October 10, including the burning of vehicles, theft of crops, and the destruction of 27 Palestinian facilities.

The Cabinet warned of a worsening humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip as the conflict enters its fourth year. They highlighted that approximately 1.4 million people are facing acute hunger and that the healthcare system has nearly collapsed. Concerns were also raised regarding the upcoming winter season, noting that two million residents in Gaza lack adequate shelter from rain and cold.

Additionally, the Cabinet addressed the status of Palestinian women three years into the conflict and discussed the role of the National Observatory in documenting crimes and violence to assist international and local institutions in their response efforts.
