Palestinian Embassy in Egypt Issues Notice on Emergency Medical Care for Citizens

The Embassy of the State of Palestine in the Arab Republic of Egypt announced that Palestinian citizens residing in Egypt can obtain emergency medical treatment at the emergency departments of government hospitals that belong to the Specialized Medical Centers Authority. The notice outlines that, if hospitalization is required, patients should contact the embassy’s medical department via WhatsApp (01556927042) and submit a medical report, a clear copy of the passport or Rafah crossing entry document, and an Egyptian phone number. The embassy will forward the request to the Palestinian Ministry of Health. Treatment is covered only at Authority‑affiliated hospitals; care at other facilities is the patient’s responsibility and expense.
