Palestinian Embassy in Lebanon coordinates response to boat sinkings near Greece

The Palestinian Embassy in Lebanon, led by Ambassador Dr. Mohammad Al-Asaad, is spearheading diplomatic efforts following two tragic boat sinkings off the Greek islands of Lesvos and Samos. The incidents involved Palestinian individuals from Lebanon and Syria who were attempting to seek safety by sea.

In coordination with the Palestinian Embassy in Greece, the mission is working to uncover the circumstances surrounding the accidents, facilitate the recovery of victims' bodies, and manage necessary legal and administrative procedures. The embassy is also focused on communicating with the families of the victims to provide information and support during the crisis.
