Palestinian Government calls for international intervention in West Bank
The Palestinian government has issued a warning regarding continuous Israeli escalation in the West Bank, specifically citing collective punishment measures in the Hebron governorate. These measures include the displacement of entire neighborhoods, the demolition of homes and facilities, and the blockade of Palestinian cities.
According to a statement from the government communication center, more than 40,000 Palestinians have been forced to leave their homes since the beginning of 2025. The government described these actions as a systematic policy and an aggressive act targeting the Palestinian people and their land, holding the Israeli government fully responsible.
The administration emphasized that such escalations will not bring security or peace to anyone and will only lead to increased tension. The government stated it is closely monitoring the situation in Hebron and other governorates to meet the needs of citizens and is communicating with relevant international parties to stop the ongoing attacks.
