Palestinian Government implements developmental and infrastructure reforms

The Palestinian Government Communication Center released a report detailing developmental and reformative interventions conducted between August 9 and 15. Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa virtually inaugurated the sixth hospital for the Palestinian Red Crescent Society in the Gaza Strip and inspected medical supply warehouses intended for the region.

In discussions with the British Foreign Secretary, the Prime Minister addressed settler attacks and support for UN Security Council resolutions regarding Gaza. Mustafa also emphasized the need for Gaza's reconstruction to include economic revitalization and the restoration of production chains to bolster national economic resilience.

The Palestinian Water Authority implemented several infrastructure projects, including securing water for 40,000 citizens in Nablus and launching a national solar energy transition project for 24 water facilities. This initiative aims to produce 1.15 gigawatt-hours annually, saving approximately 1.5 million shekels per year for facility maintenance. Additionally, in Deir al-Balah, urgent interventions are being carried out in cooperation with the UNDP to drill new wells and rehabilitate sewage pumping stations.
