Palestinian National Council election committee meets Fatah leadership in Kuwait

The Palestinian National Council election follow-up committee met with the Fatah movement leadership in Kuwait to discuss preparations for upcoming elections. The committee, which includes Fatah Central Committee member Yasser Abbas and Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) Central Council member Ahmed Assaf, held the meeting with Kuwait-based Fatah regional Secretary Hisham Ibrahim and other regional members.

Discussions focused on adopting an electoral assembly as the democratic mechanism to select representatives from the Palestinian community in Kuwait for membership in the Palestinian National Council.
