Palestinian Pilgrims Reach Saudi Arabia for Hajj as Pakistan Plans 2027 Registration

Around 6,600 Palestinian pilgrims arrived in Saudi Arabia this week, traveling through Jordan and Egypt to join the 2023 Hajj. They were accommodated in six Saudi hotels as the kingdom continues to host millions of Muslims for the annual pilgrimage.

Pakistan's Ministry of Religious Affairs announced that mandatory registration for the Hajj of 2027 will begin later this month. The ministry urged prospective pilgrims to hold passports valid until November 16, 2027 and noted the country’s quota of 179,210 pilgrims, who may register under government or private schemes.

Both announcements highlight ongoing preparations and logistical coordination for the world’s largest Islamic pilgrimage across different Muslim communities.
