Palestinian Prime Minister orders emergency response coordination

Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa has directed the organization of emergency response efforts to accelerate the delivery of urgent needs to targeted areas. The directive aims to ensure equitable distribution through coordination between government institutions and international partners.

The Palestinian Cabinet expressed urgent concern regarding Israeli threats to target Palestinian state institutions and leadership, specifically citing threats of a ‘comprehensive war’ by Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz. The Cabinet warned that these actions, combined with increased settler activity, represent a systematic policy to undermine the Palestinian political and legal system.

Reports indicate a surge in settler violence, with over 395 attacks recorded in a single week, resulting in seven deaths. Additionally, Israeli forces have reportedly demolished more than 42 Palestinian homes and facilities. The Cabinet called on the international community to ensure the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip and to protect the rights of displaced persons in both Gaza and the West Bank.

Furthermore, the Cabinet demanded that any debris removal efforts in Gaza be managed by Palestinian authorities under reliable supervision to preserve evidence and identify the remains of over 10,000 missing persons trapped under rubble.
