Palestinian professionals visit Tuscany for institutional exchange
As part of the ‘Tuscany for Palestine’ project, a delegation of Palestinian female professionals visited the Tuscany region for a week of training, institutional dialogue, and community engagement. The group included counselors and psychosocial specialists from the Palestinian Working Woman Society for Development (PWWSD), accompanied by project coordinator Bisan Rebhi Al Jaffari.
The visit included meetings with Valerio Mari, Director General of the local health authority, and visits to various facilities in Florence and Empoli, such as the Palagi Hospital, the Mental Health Center, and the Codice Rosa Center. The program focused on professional exchange regarding psychosocial support, the management of individuals exposed to chronic trauma, and addressing gender-based violence.
