Palestinian Technocratic Committee to Oversee Gaza Administration and $400 Million Funding

A 15‑member transitional technocratic body, the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza (NCAG), announced it is ready to assume responsibility for governing the Gaza Strip. The committee will restore essential public services, enforce the rule of law, facilitate humanitarian aid, and lead reconstruction efforts, while auditing finances and protecting public assets.

The Board of Peace (BoP) said it will review and manage up to $400 million in legitimate financial commitments to suppliers, contractors and other parties under the U.S. President Donald Trump‑backed peace‑plan roadmap. The funds are to be disbursed gradually over three years, prioritised by NCAG. The plan follows Trump’s declaration of a cease‑fire with Hamas and a phased Israeli withdrawal, and includes a weapons‑inventory mechanism overseen by NCAG, as confirmed by Hamas negotiator Ghazi Hamad.
