Deportes Santa Cruz leads group, reaches Copa Chile round of 16

Deportes Santa Cruz finished the Copa Chile group stage in first place with 13 points, despite a 3‑2 loss to Palestino. The victory gave Palestino three points but left them third in Group G, missing the knockout round. Audax Italiano secured second place with 12 points, also advancing. Santa Cruz will meet the second‑placed team from Group E – a possible draw with Colo‑Colo, O’Higgins or Deportes Recoleta – in the round of 16.

Eight clubs have qualified for the octavos de final: Cobreloa, Universidad Católica, Deportes Antofagasta, Everton, Audax Italiano, Deportes Santa Cruz, Deportes Concepción and Deportes Puerto Montt. Deportes Iquique’s next opponent could be Cobreloa or Deportes Antofagasta, depending on its final group position.
