Palia launches Sunkissed Summer: Beauty and the Beach update

The fantasy MMO Palia has released its final Sunkissed Summer content update, titled “Beauty and the Beach.” The update adds enchanted gardens, whimsical sky effects and new storybook cosmetics. A seasonal Great Shimmerfly Migration brings rare Star‑Quality Shimmerflies that can be caught for rewards, and a new “Duo Dance” emote lets players perform partnered dances with special outfits and music.

A new Bulletin Board quest chain tasks players with helping the in‑game character Auni prove Kilima Village’s bug‑scouting prowess. Participants collect Shimmerflies, flowers, snacks and farm items to complete four Scouting for Shimmerflies bundles, earning Kilima Coins, XP and a Shimmerfly Garden recipe. The update also revives the Insect‑a‑Palooza event, running from August 17‑24, encouraging bug‑catching activities throughout the world of Palia.
