Palia to receive free upgrade for Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026

Singularity 6 has announced that its free-to-play fantasy life-sim MMORPG, Palia, will receive a free upgrade for the Nintendo Switch 2. The release is expected during the 2026 holiday season.

The Switch 2 edition aims to provide enhanced performance and richer visuals compared to previous versions. It will also feature support for the console’s Joy-Con 2 mouse controls.

A major new gameplay feature titled ‘Echo Expeditions’ will debut alongside the console launch. Described as ‘wholesome-action dungeon crawling,’ these optional expeditions allow players to tackle challenges and cleanse ‘Echo manifestations’ either solo or with friends, providing new endgame content and progression paths.
