Palit launches GeForce RTX 3060 Infinity 2 OC graphics card with 12 GB VRAM

Palit announced the GeForce RTX 3060 Infinity 2 OC, the first new RTX 3060 variant in five years. The card uses Nvidia's Ampere GA106 GPU produced on Samsung's 8 nm process and is equipped with 12 GB of GDDR6 memory, a dual‑fan cooling system and a factory overclock of up to 1792 MHz. Power consumption is rated at 170 W and a 550 W power supply is recommended.

The Infinity 2 OC is positioned for 1080p gaming, video editing, 3D graphics and local AI workloads, offering a larger VRAM pool than the standard 8 GB RTX 3060 models. Availability dates and pricing were not confirmed, though one source cited a price of roughly 2,000–2,100 Romanian lei.
