Pallacanestro Varese unveils Campus 2.0 renovation project

Pallacanestro Varese has unveiled the 'Campus 2.0' project, a major renovation of its via Pirandello facility aimed at creating Italy's premier basketball training center. The project is part of a broader growth strategy for the club and involves a partnership between the Bulgheroni family and investors led by Luis Scola.

The renovation will transform the facility across two levels. The ground floor will be redesigned to house the club's official offices, a team shop, and a new bar-restaurant. The lower level (-1) will undergo significant expansion to include 1,500 square meters of commercial space, new locker rooms, coaching offices, and a specialized 'PV Lab'—a sports science center dedicated to injury recovery and physical preparation for both professional athletes and high-level amateurs.

Construction is expected to be completed by October 30, 2027. The initiative seeks to modernize the aging infrastructure to meet the standards required by top-tier professional players.
