Pallars regions to receive 1.48 million euros for road improvements

The Department of Territory has opened an early call for subsidies aimed at improving and maintaining municipal roads and rural networks in mountain regions. A total of more than 6 million euros has been allocated, with 1.489 million euros specifically designated for the Pallars regions.

Within this allocation, 821,500 euros are reserved for Pallars Jussà and 667,500 euros for Pallars Sobirà. These funds are intended to cover actions executed between January 1 and October 31 of next year.

Sílvia Paneque, the Minister of Territory, Housing, and Ecological Transition, stated that these subsidies serve as a tool to guarantee territorial equity and improve living conditions for residents, helping to fix the population and prevent depopulation. The initiative is part of broader mountain policies designed to ensure access to various nuclei within the nine mountain regions and Aran.
