Pallavolo Padova coaches support Italian national team and teach at elite coaching course
During the summer, the technical staff of Pallavolo Padova intensified their work at both national and educational levels. Assistant coach Alberto Salmaso and athletic trainer Alessio Carraro joined the Italian men’s national team in the preparatory camps for the Volleyball Nations League, overseeing the conditioning and reintegration of players who were not selected for individual VNL matches. Their focus was to maintain fitness, gradually re‑introduce paused athletes, and keep the active squad in peak condition.
Head coach Jacopo Cuttini also contributed to the sport’s development by serving as a lecturer at the prestigious Third‑Level National Coaching Course in Rome, organized by the Italian Volleyball Federation. He shared his training methodology and emphasized a flexible, non‑dogmatic approach to coaching, aiming to enrich fellow coaches’ expertise.
The combined activities provided professional growth for the Padova staff, fostered collaboration within the national program, and supported the broader advancement of Italian volleyball coaching standards.
