Team Ascent wins FedEx/JA International Trade Challenge Asia Pacific 2026

Team Ascent, a cross-border collaboration featuring Farra Santoso from Indonesia and Harry Jang from South Korea, has won first place at the FedEx/JA International Trade Challenge Asia Pacific 2026.

Competing in Singapore from August 16–19, 2026, the team proposed an innovative solution using recycled industrial packaging to create lightweight heat-resistant liners. The product is designed to mitigate heat in buildings in Cambodia without requiring electricity, addressing energy efficiency and heat exposure issues.

The competition, organized by JA Asia Pacific and Federal Express Corporation (FedEx), marks its 20th anniversary. This year's event involved over 4,000 participants from eight countries and regions, including Hong Kong SAR, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand.
