Palm Springs announces 2026–2027 arts and Pride honors

The Palm Springs Gay Men’s Chorus (PSGMC) has announced its 2026–2027 concert season at the historic Plaza Theatre. The season includes a holiday production titled ‘Jingle Jangle Jazz Hands!’ in December 2026, featuring a seven-piece orchestra and guest appearances by Billy L’Amour and Palm Springs Baker. In April 2027, the chorus will present ‘Boogie Shoes: The Disco Show,’ a tribute to 1960s, 70s, and 80s disco music.

Additionally, Greater Palm Springs Pride has named the recipients for the 2026 Pride Honors Awards, coinciding with the 40th anniversary of Pride in the region. André Chambers will receive the Spirit of Pride Award for his advocacy and work in addiction recovery and transgender youth mentorship. Andy Wysocki and Bill Sanderson of Townie Bagels have been awarded the Business of Pride Award for their contributions as LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs in the Coachella Valley. The awards ceremony is scheduled for September 24, 2026, at the Palm Springs Hilton.
