Palma authorizes 196 homes at former Son Simonet barracks
The Palma City Council Urban Planning Management has authorized the construction of 196 homes on the site of the former Son Simonet barracks in the Camp Redó neighborhood. The residential project, promoted by the company La Llave de Oro, will be built on an approximately 15,000-square-meter plot acquired from the Ministry of Defense.
The development will feature buildings between six and eight stories high, offering various apartment sizes including one, two, three, and four-bedroom units. The project aims to integrate residential and commercial spaces, including three commercial premises, 297 parking spaces, and 132 storage rooms. Common areas for residents will include a swimming pool, terraces, and green zones, while preserving some historical elements of the former military site.
