Palma di Montechiaro sees launch of new political platform

A new political platform named ‘Scegli Palma – Coraggio Civico’ has been established in Palma di Montechiaro in preparation for the 2027 administrative elections. The movement is composed of various local professionals aiming to improve the town and potentially field a mayoral candidate.

The platform describes itself as a pluralistic entity consisting of center-left, civic, and moderate centrist components. The initiative seeks to build a broad and competitive coalition by inviting other local civic groups and political movements to participate in dialogue. The group aims to implement significant changes to the quality of life for citizens, positioning itself as an alternative to the current administration which has been in office for nearly ten years.
