Police make multiple arrests following violent crimes in Dominican Republic and Spain

Authorities in the Dominican Republic and Spain have reported several violent incidents and subsequent arrests.

In the Dominican Republic, police arrested Johnny González for an attempted robbery in the Serrallés sector of Santo Domingo, where 23-year-old Gustavo Adolfo III Mejía-Ricart Risk was stabbed. Additionally, Luis Miguel Santiago Guzmán was detained in connection with the death of 17-year-old Zaidy Fragoso Lizardo in Santo Domingo Este. In Herrera, two men, José Antonio Martínez Joseph and Juan Gabriel Marte Ramírez, were arrested following the discovery of the body of Andy Louissaint, a Haitian-American citizen, under a staircase.

In Spain, a 19-year-old Algerian man was detained in Palma for the fatal stabbing of a youth in the Son Gotleu neighborhood. Investigations revealed the suspect was a minor at the time of the crime. In Tenerife, a 21-year-old man was arrested for a physical assault involving a glass bottle that resulted in the death of a 22-year-old man in Playa de las Américas.
