Palmas allocates land for new Firefighters headquarters

The City Hall of Palmas has officially allocated a 2,820.81 m² area in the Jardim Aureny II neighborhood for the construction of a new headquarters for the 1st Independent Military Firefighters Company (CIBMTO). Mayor Eduardo Siqueira Campos signed Decree No. 2,975/2026 to facilitate the land transfer to the Military Firefighters Corps of the State of Tocantins (CBMTO).

The site is located near the Ayrton Senna Gymnasium and is intended to improve emergency response mobility and service coverage in the southern region of the city. The project, which will be funded by available municipal resources, includes a two-story building with living quarters, common areas, a large garage, and an operations center.
