Palmas City Hall named finalist for 2026 IEL Prize

The City Hall of Palmas has been named a finalist for the 2026 IEL Prize (Instituto Euvaldo Lodi) in the ‘Innovative Company Internship’ category. The recognition stems from the municipality’s efforts to reform its internship program, focusing on improved onboarding, training, and monitoring of students.

Key improvements include the implementation of a 12-hour in-person integration track to replace short virtual training sessions. This new model covers institutional culture, ethics in public service, and professional behavior. The initiative also emphasizes humanized processes, increased supervisor training in leadership, and enhanced accessibility and inclusion measures for interns with disabilities.
