Palmas hosts serigraphy exhibition at Espaço Mais Cultura

The serigraphy exhibition ‘Além da Impressão’ is currently on display at the Espaço Mais Cultura Atriz e Educadora Marcélia Belém in Palmas. The showcase features works produced by students of the free ‘Design and Serigraphy’ introductory course offered by the Fundação Cultural de Palmas (FCP) through its Creativity Center.

On display are various items including t-shirts, ecobags, prints, dishcloths, and canvases. The exhibition also includes tools used in the serigraphic process, such as printing matrices, sketches, and squeegees. The event is open to the public for free, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 to 19:00, and will run until the 13th.

According to instructor Cláudio Montanari, the course teaches technical and productive processes, helping students understand the responsibility of presenting professional work to the public. Andrea Bangoim, manager of Mais Cultura, noted that the course supports the creative economy by providing professional training that allows students to work autonomously or start their own businesses.
