Palmas Metropolitan Guard begins vehicle and boat training

The Palmas Metropolitan Guard has launched a new training phase for its agents to improve the operation of official vehicles. Approximately 80 guards are participating in the Driver Training Course, which is divided into four groups.

The program covers the operation of cars, motorcycles, and watercraft. Practical activities have already begun on the Palmas Lake, where agents are receiving instruction on piloting techniques and standardized procedures for aquatic patrolling and inspection to ensure the safety of both officers and the public.

In addition to technical driving skills, the curriculum includes classroom instruction on traffic legislation, operational procedures, and the legal responsibilities of officers while operating official vehicles.
