Palmdale hit-and-run leaves one person injured

A man is recovering in a hospital after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run collision in Palmdale. The incident occurred Tuesday night at the intersection of 6th Street East and Avenue Q-6.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported that the victim suffered minor injuries and was in stable condition. The driver of a dark-colored Nissan sedan fled the scene following the collision. While a deputy noted the victim may have placed himself in front of the vehicle, some reports from the scene suggested a confrontation occurred between the victim and the driver before the vehicle struck him.
