Palmeiras plans Raphael Veiga return for 2027 season

Palmeiras is planning the return of midfielder Raphael Veiga for the 2027 season. The 31-year-old player is currently on loan at Club América in Mexico and has expressed a desire to return to the Brazilian club to reclaim a prominent role in the squad.

While Veiga has signaled his intent to return, Club América holds a contractual option to purchase his economic rights for approximately 6.5 million dollars (roughly 33 million reais). Palmeiras officials are awaiting a formal decision from the Mexican club regarding this option, which is expected by early December.

During his time in Mexico, Veiga has appeared in 34 official matches, recording five goals and eight assists. The Palmeiras technical staff has already approved his reintegration into the professional roster to strengthen the team's playmaking department.
