Palmeiras targets Botafogo midfielder Danilo for 2027

Palmeiras is monitoring Botafogo midfielder Danilo for a potential transfer in 2027. Botafogo has established a financial valuation of approximately 30 million euros (roughly R$ 175 million) to initiate negotiations for the player.

Danilo, who was developed in Palmeiras' youth academy and won two consecutive Libertadores titles with the club before playing for Nottingham Forest, is considered a priority target by manager Abel Ferreira. While interest is noted, no formal agreement is in place, and Botafogo maintains they will not negotiate below their established valuation.

Separately, Danilo recently reunited with former Palmeiras teammates Endrick, Estêvão, and Vitor Reis while representing the Brazilian national team during a FIFA international window. The group featured in a 1-1 draw against Australia.
