Palmeiras to sell Allan to Manchester City for 40 million euros

Palmeiras has reached an agreement to sell 22-year-old midfielder-attacker Allan to Manchester City for a total of 40 million euros. The deal includes a fixed payment of 37.5 million euros, with an additional 2.5 million euros tied to performance-based bonuses.

Manchester City views Allan as a potential replacement for Savinho, who is reportedly transferring to Tottenham. The young player is expected to sign a five-year contract with the English club. While Palmeiras originally planned to retain Allan through the end of the 2026 season, the scale of the financial offer prompted the board to reconsider.

Palmeiras manager Abel Ferreira has previously praised Allan's unique ability to contribute to both attacking and defensive phases. The departure will require tactical adjustments for Palmeiras, as Allan has been a key component of their 3-5-2 formation, typically operating as a right wing-back.
