Palmeiras youth academy gains global recognition

Palmeiras' youth academy, known as 'Academia', continues to gain international recognition. 16-year-old attacker Eduardo Conceição has been named by The Guardian as one of the 60 greatest football prospects of his generation. The club has secured the player with a contract until 2029 and a €100 million release clause.

Conceição is already participating in training sessions with the professional squad. Meanwhile, former Palmeiras player Sorriso, currently playing for Al-Fateh in Saudi Arabia, praised the club's training infrastructure and the leadership of youth coordinator João Paulo Sampaio. Sorriso highlighted the club's ability to provide a professional environment that allows young talents to focus exclusively on technical and tactical development.
