Palmela allocates 100,000 euros to rebuild Botafogo de Cabanas field wall

The Palmela City Council has announced an allocation of 100,000 euros to Botafogo Futebol Clube de Cabanas to fund the reconstruction of a support wall at the Campo António Henrique de Matos.

The wall collapsed in November 2025 due to severe weather, significantly impacting the club’s ability to use the field safely for training and competitive matches. Under a new program contract, the municipality will cover approximately 81% of the total investment required for the repairs.
