Palmela establishes new enogastronomic brotherhood association

The Associação Confraria Enogastronómica de Palmela was formally established on Friday, August 14, 2026, during a ceremony at the Palmela Notary Office. The new association aims to protect and promote the authentic enology and gastronomy of the Palmela region.

Acting as a successor to the C.G.P., the brotherhood intends to serve as a vehicle for valuing local heritage by promoting the specific products, flavors, and traditions that define the territory. Future goals include developing projects and events to attract visitors and consolidate Palmela as a reference point for high-quality wine and culinary enthusiasts.
