Palmela introduces candidates for 2026 Grape Harvest Festival Queen

The town of Palmela has officially begun preparations for the 2026 Festa das Vindimas. During the ‘Moscatel às Nove’ event held at the Sociedade Filarmónica Humanitária, twelve candidates were introduced for the title of Queen of the Grape Harvest Festival and her ladies-in-waiting.

The presentation marks the start of a multi-week program where candidates will engage with the local culture, traditions, and regional products before the final election. The event also honored the 2025 representatives, including the outgoing Queen, Carolina Sousa, and featured Inês Carvalho, the 2025 ambassador for Portuguese wine territories.
