Palmer Basket wins Mallorca derby in final seconds

Palmer Basket secured a victory in the Mallorca derby against Fibwi Mallorca to open the Primera FEB season. The match, held at Son Moix before approximately 2,000 spectators, was decided in the final seconds when Mingo scored the winning basket with only 0.7 seconds remaining.

While Palmer Basket controlled much of the game through effective three-point shooting and rebounding, Fibwi Mallorca remained competitive. Key performances for Fibwi included Kande Kieli and Jaume Llop, who helped close the gap during the second quarter.

The start of the season marks a new chapter for both clubs, which have both updated their rosters and coaching staffs.
