Palnadu road accident kills seven in bus and auto-rickshaw collision

A fatal road accident occurred in the Palnadu district of Andhra Pradesh when a private bus traveling from Vijayawada to Tirupati collided with an auto-rickshaw near Chilakaluripet. The collision resulted in the deaths of at least seven people, including six women.

The victims, residents of Veluru village, were reportedly returning from a birthday celebration in Kondamanjulur. In addition to the fatalities, eight others, including four children, sustained injuries. The injured have been admitted to the Government General Hospital in Guntur and the Chilakaluripet government hospital for treatment.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, and Home Minister Vangalapudi Anita expressed their condolences to the families of the deceased. Authorities have directed officials to ensure the injured receive the best possible medical care and have ordered an investigation into the circumstances of the accident.
